To All Southeast Red Angus Association Members – NEW AUCTION LOCATION!
We are starting to organize the 2026 SERAA Autumn Extravaganza Auction scheduled for November 7, 2026 with a new location at the Hardin County Stockyard in Savannah, Tennessee. We are in search of high-quality registered Red Angus bulls as well as registered and commercial Red Angus females. Bulls will need to be born prior to November 2025 and be yearlings to 2 year-olds on sale day. All bulls will need to complete a regiment of health tests and be DNA tested for enhanced EPD traits.
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture again has a cost share reimbursement program that will pay the buyers up to $2,000.00 per bull for bulls that qualify for the Tennessee Ag Enhancement Program (TAEP). All bulls that qualify for the TAEP program will sell first in the auction. Last year, the bulls that qualified were definitely rewarded with higher selling prices vs. the bulls that did not qualify for the TAEP program. The 2026 TAEP Requirements will be released by the TN Ag Dept. later this summer.
Please plan ahead now and get your bulls DNA tests sent into RAAA and be ready to perform all health tests required to qualify for the TAEP program. Many of these tests require time and DNA tests can take up to 2 months to complete and get results.
We sincerely hope that you will be interested in participating in this third-time event for the Southeast Red Angus Association with an emphasis on top quality registered Red Angus bulls, registered Red Angus females and groups of commercial Red Angus and Red Angus crossbred females.
Electronic Entry Forms may be accessed on our website: www.redcows.net and are due by September 10, 2026. Please note that there will be a $200 deposit per head for registered animals and a $25 per head deposit on commercial females. These deposits will be fully 100% refunded through the sale commission for all animals that arrive and sell in the auction.
